Horaciobikes 30 Days Return Policy/Change of Mind Return Policy

Duration and Eligibility

  • 30-Day Return Period: For all orders placed through our website, you have 30 days from the day of delivery to return any unwanted items.

Condition of Items

  • Condition: To receive a full refund, the item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in the original packaging.

  • Test Rides: Generally, returns are not accepted for used bikes. However, if a test ride has been conducted and you wish to return the item due to personal preference, a restocking fee might be deducted from your refund to cover depreciation (as the bike can no longer be sold as new). This fee varies depending on the bike's condition.

    Return Process

    • Advance Contact: Please contact us at info@horaciobikes.com.au before returning an item, so we can guide you on the most cost-effective and efficient method for shipping it back to us.
    • Shipping Address: To return your product, mail it to: Unit 3/22 Central Ct, Hillcrest QLD 4118, Australia.
    • Return Shipping Costs: For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping fees displayed on our website are subsidised promotional rates and apply to outbound delivery only.

    If you choose to arrange the return shipment yourself, you may use a courier of your choice.

    If you choose for us to arrange the return shipment on your behalf, the return shipping cost will be charged based on the actual, non-subsidised courier cost and deducted from your refund. A copy of the courier invoice can be provided upon request.

    • Local Bicycle Returns: If you received a bicycle via our local delivery service and wish to return it, the bicycle must be returned by the customer. You may return the bicycle in person to our Hillcrest showroom during business hours, or arrange your own return transport. Local delivery fees are non-refundable and do not include a return pick-up service. In-store purchases can be returned to our Hillcrest showroom.
    • Please note that the initial shipping cost will not be refunded.

    Damages and Issues

    • Damage During Delivery: If your item arrives damaged, immediately notify us by taking photos of the damage and contacting us through our contact form. 
    • Damage During Return Transit: If an item sustains damage during the return transit due to inadequate packaging by the customer, HORACIOBIKES reserves the right to charge for the cost of replacing the damaged part or component.
    • Lost During Return Transit: Horacio Bikes does not take responsibility for returns lost in transit if you arrange your own courier. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or asking us to arrange the label for you.

    Refunds

    • Inspection and Approval: Our mechanics will inspect any returned bike before authorizing a refund, a process that can take up to 5 business days after the bike is received at our warehouse. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.
