Thank you for choosing Horaciobikes. We take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our bicycles, and we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with your purchase. To support this, Horaciobikes are backed by an industry-leading warranty.

Our pedal bike warranty includes:

  • Lifetime Warranty on every frame we sell
  • A 2-year Warranty on all rigid forks
  • A 2-year Warranty on suspension forks, Shimano components
  • A 12-month Warranty on wheelsets
  • A 12-month Warranty on all other non-consumable component

Warranty for Horaciobikes Electric Bikes (Excludes Belt-Drive models):

Frame: Lifetime Warranty on every frame we sell

Moving Parts, Mechanical and Electrical Components (including Battery, Motor, Display and Charger): 1 Year or 5,000 km, whichever comes first.

Warranty for Horaciobikes Belt-Drive E-Bikes:

Frame: Lifetime Warranty on every frame we sell

Samsung Battery: 18 Months.

Gates Carbon Drive Belt: 2 Years or 12,000 km (whichever comes first).

Bafang Motor: 24 Months.

Other Electrical Components: 1 Year (e.g., Display, Charger).

General Exclusions & Conditions

Consumables: The warranty does not cover consumable parts subject to normal wear and tear, including but not limited to: tyres, tubes, brake pads, chains, cables, and grips.

Non-Transferable: This warranty applies to the original owner only and is not transferable.

Voiding Warranty: Damage caused by improper assembly, negligence, accidents, stunt riding, water damage (for electrical parts), or unauthorized modifications is not covered.


Please note that this warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Modifications to the electrical system (such as adjusting the speed limit beyond 25 km/h) will void the warranty on the Motor, Battery, Controller, and any other components affected by the modification.

To claim a warranty:

Please reach out to our customer service as the first point of contact if you're experiencing any problems with your bike, we're here to assist you in resolving them. The best way to contact our customer service team is via email. It's recommended that you include your original order details, a clear explanation of the issue, and a photo of the affected part to help us expedite the resolution process. Our email address is info@horaciobikes.com.au. We'll do our best to help you as quickly as possible.

Return Policy:

If you receive a faulty item or one that does not match the description, please contact us immediately.
Remedy: We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Shipping: For genuine warranty claims/faults, Horacio Bikes will cover the return shipping costs.
Packaging: While original packaging is preferred for safe transport, it is not a mandatory requirement for warranty claims.


Kindly be aware that if the product is not assembled or maintained properly, it may result in voiding the warranty. We advise that you follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully during assembly and maintenance to avoid any issues that may void the warranty.

If a replacement is needed, we will provide frames to fix it but may not be exact the same of the original part. We will ensure that they are of equivalent or even better quality.

Please note the following details regarding our warranty:

Our warranty does not cover damages resulting from accidents, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, stunt riding, commercial use, rental use, improper assembly, improper fit, maintenance and/or assembly, and any other forms of improper use. The warranty applies solely to riders weighing up to 125 kilograms, and we do not provide warranty coverage for the wheels, fork, or frame for riders exceeding this weight limit. Any alterations, such as motorized conversions or custom adaptations that could potentially stress the frame, will nullify all warranties. The warranty also does not include bottle cage or pannier rivets. If the surface rust had been neglected or mistreated, it won't be covered by the warranty.  Thank you for your understanding.

We understand it can be tempting to seek a quick fix — but if you've had your bike repaired without notifying us first, we’re unable to cover any costs.

Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), customers must give the seller a reasonable opportunity to inspect and fix the issue. This allows us to assess the problem and offer an appropriate solution — such as replacement parts, guided repair, or other remedies.

If you go ahead with third-party repairs without contacting us first, it means we didn’t have the chance to inspect or assist. In such cases: We are not responsible for any repair costs incurred.

This applies even if you later provide receipts — as we were not given the opportunity to evaluate or address the issue beforehand.

We're always happy to help quickly and fairly — but we kindly ask that you reach out to us first, before arranging any repairs. That way, we can provide support and avoid any misunderstandings.

Horacio branded accessories are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Horaciobikes provide a one-year warranty for all wheelsets sold, subject to weight restrictions as detailed on the product page.
