The shop assistant is very friendly and helpful. They send me the document immediately after I put my order online to helo me apply the QLD e-mobility rebate programe. They also have retailer store in QLD and allow you to try and test the bike physically. Overall, the cost-effective is pretty good as they use high-quality part.

I am very happy with my Horatio Thunder Electric Urban e-bike. The service was fantastic. I am in Cairns and I wasn't sure about shipping, so I called and Lulu was extremely helpful. I paid for the bike that day on PayPal and it was shipped the next day. It was delivered to me within 7 days and the assembly was easy enough. I jumped onto their YouTube video which stepped me through what to do. I would definitely recommend Horatio Bikes.

TLDR: you cannot get this service and value anywhere else. It is by far the best bike retailer in SEQ.

Now to the more detailed version.

I need a bike for commuting and work. Before buying the thunder E-MTB from Horacio bikes, I had been paying 50+ a week for a bike rental. As far as my knowledge goes, cheapest ‘just a bike’ rentals go at around 43 dollars.

Now any rental bike user knows that they have 60,000+ on the odometer and make horrible sounds all the time but you still have to pay a lot to use one of these. This was what prompted me to buy an e-bike as for many others who have rented e-bikes.

Now my budget was small. I genuinely didn’t expect to get a good bike for what I paid at Horacio as used e-bikes on Facebook marketplace cost more than this.

Fast forward to me going to the display store to test it out. I had a different bike in mind originally but Andy and Lulu at Horacio bikes had the other variant available for me to try as well.

The purchase of the bike was seamless with extremely good communication from their behalf delivered to as near my door as you can get with a car.

I was already then very pleased. However, I ran into a small problem with the bike.

I was already worried that I need to pay for something. Instead, Andy messaged me off hours with a complete tutorial on how to fix the problem and offered to fix it himself if I want to. As your regular guy, I preferred to fix it myself and as far as my knowledge goes, the problem is fixed.

If you want a great bike for an affordable price with the customer focused service, go to Horacio bikes. They see you as a customer instead of a commission.
