CUES is Shimano's modern drivetrain family, built around LINKGLIDE technology — cassettes with thicker, reinforced teeth that Shimano rates for up to 3× the lifespan of its conventional drivetrains. In plain terms: gears that keep shifting smoothly for years instead of wearing out.
We service every bike we sell in our own Brisbane workshop, so we see exactly what breaks and what doesn't. CUES has been the most trouble-free drivetrain in our service records — fewer adjustments, fewer bent hangers, fewer warranty visits than any other drivetrain we've sold.
The 2026 model is the most Shimano-focused Blaze we've built: a full CUES drivetrain package (shifter, derailleur, cassette, crankset, bottom bracket and hubs), a wider 11-46T climbing cassette, hydraulic disc brakes, and an updated frame tuned for a more comfortable everyday ride — available in both 27.5" and 29" wheels.
Go by your height. 27.5" (S/M) suits riders around 155–175cm and feels nimbler on tighter paths. 29" (M/L/XL) suits riders around 170–195cm and rolls faster and smoother. If you're between sizes, most riders prefer the smaller frame for comfort.
Not at all. It's a comfortable, durable all-rounder — daily commutes, weekend paths, and trails when you want them. The wide 11-46T gearing keeps pedalling light on hills, and hydraulic disc brakes give you confident stopping in any weather.
Three options: courier Australia-wide (arrives 85% assembled in a bike box, with step-by-step guides and videos in our Help Centre), local delivery around Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan and Ipswich (fully assembled and tuned by our mechanics, ready to ride), or free pickup from our Brisbane warehouse, fully assembled.
