This is a fantastic entry level mountain bike with features of bikes that are twice the price. I had been researching mountain bikes for a while and had been looking to buy second hand until I found Horacio Bikes. The specs, geometry and details of this bike are very close to other named brands that are twice the price and not much more than a second hand bike without the frustration.
So far, other than some small tuning on the derailleurs the bike has been fantastic. The sales and delivery of the bike was perfect and well communicated and arrived on time and it was excellent experience buying from Horacio Bikes.
It’s the best bike I’ve ever owned. The price is so competitive, and quality is great! They did a very good job! Ordering was flawless and shipping was fast! It does need some assembly when arrived but it was easy.

My son loves his new bike. It’s well made, easy to put together and just all round good value. Customer service was amazing too - I accidentally ordered the wrong size so I emailed them straight away and they were straight on to it. Very happy customer!
Serenio is a great bike for daily use. I mainly use to ride around local town to shops and beach. Easy to ride with smooth gear changing and nice range of power options from eco to sports mode. Belt drive is great for riding on the beach as no sand problems in belt. Bike was delivered quickly and easy to assemble. Nice finish all round and components seem good quality. Would be good to have one more gear to go a bit faster. For the money I feel this is a good value e-bike. Battery charged pretty quickly.
I bought two bikes. Upon unboxing, I noticed the left crank arms on both had varying degrees of scuffs and scratches from shipping. I'd suggest adding some protective padding/cushioning around them.

Bike assembly was very easy, and the tools were provided which is good for people who don't carry tools. The only thing I provided was my own wax based chain lubricant.
My main usage is commuting and bike paths near the beach. I'm 109kg and I've only needed to have it on level 2 assist so far. Headwinds are no longer a challenge, and it's easy to get some decent speed going.
I will provide an update when I spend more time using the battery.

Finally a company who is selling bikes for what they are worth not at 100% markup. This bike is awesome great way to get the kids off devices and outside. Shipping was incredably fast, with the bike packaged as good as bikes can be in boxes. All tools to assemble and instructions are included and can be done quickly with ease.
Very happy we found them and will be getting more as the kids grow out of bikes.
Recommend for a first e-bike for commuting and light trail/touring. Rear hub motor and gears combined and automatic is a revelation. Combined with gates belt and good basic brakes, shockers and battery, it blows the competition out of the water for value.

Second e-bike for me and wish these had been around a few years ago.
Genuinely good set up all round. Extremely good value for money.
Time will tell on bafang gears and motor component longevity.

The Horacio ThunderX 2026 Electric MTB 29 inch– 250W Torque Sensor, Shimano CUES is excellent..This is a very well built bike that has exceeded my expectations. There is nothing cheap about this product. I'm so glad that I purchased a bike with a torque sensor. The bike delivers smooth power. The motor is quiet. I would suggest a slightly smaller front chainring. Perhaps 32 or 34 just for a bit more climbing power. The tyres are quite aggressive and suitable for mountain bike trails. They do exhibit some road noise on pavement. The battery life is excellent. I managed a good 50 plus km on the first charge. Not bad considering I weigh 100kg. The brakes are superb. The gears change smoothly. The controller has a setting to monitor watts being drawn which is excellent to conserve battery power. Most of the time I was using the first setting which is eco 1. Occasionally I increased the power to the motor for steeper climbs. At times I would even turn the motor off and just ride it as a normal bike. Leaving it on eco 1 is the sweet spot for me. It gives you a bit of assistance and yet still provides you with an excellent workout. Having the battery built into the frame is the way to go. This is a lot of bike for the price as it's on special.
The build quality is genuinely impressive - lightweight frame, super nimble, and looks great out on the paths. Couldn't be happier with it! Ordered online and delivery was super fast.
